Celebrating International Women's Day today with the theme, “Gender equality today, for a sustainable tomorrow”, Oheneyere Gifty Anti has admonished all to accept and embrace the effort of all women.
Speaking with the Fox FM Morning Drive Show host, Sir John today,
Gifty Anti highlighted the need to allow women to come out with what
they have for the betterment of our country.
According to her, the representation of women at most of the higher places in the country is still not encouraging, hence there is a lot we could do to elevate it.
March 8 every year has been recognized Internationally as International Women's Day. The day is used to celebrate women across the world and also promote women's rights.
The Ghanaian media personality and a motivational speaker further blamed the media for contributing to the gender bias in the country and asked them not to promote women only on International Women's Day.
