Retain Our HARD Working MP As Deputy Minister For Finance- Arsua Hene To Prez

The absence by the presidency to release names for the Deputy Ministers to serve on the Second Term of Nana Addo has given room for speculations and predictions by a political analyst.

Because of this, some influential statesmen, politicians and traditional leaders are constantly knocking on the doors of the president to consider the appointment of their own.

One of such chiefs is Barima Ampem Darko, chief of Arosua in the Atiwa East District in the Eastern Region, has called on the president to reconsider his decision to appoint their MP, Hon Abena Osei Asare, a former Deputy Minister for Finance during the first term under Nana Addo.

Barima Ampem Darko sees their MP as a development-oriented person who has made a huge impact on the developmental needs of the constituency following her election to represent the people in parliament.

On her appointment as Deputy Minister, Nana said Abena Osei Asare exceptionally did well under her boss Ken Ofori Atta to manage the economy that produces a lot of positives for the growth of our economy.

Nana Darko thinks that a devil you know according to the adage, is better than the Angel unknown to you, that she haven perfectly worked cordially with the Sector Minister and others in the Ministry, ‘it’s our appeal for your high office to retain her as deputy minister for finance once again.
