Magazine maakro residents in the Suame municipality have poured out their grievances and expressed their worry against the authorities of the municipality. Highlighting their major problem whiles besieging Foxfm outreach program.

Residents of Magazine maakro in the Suame municipality have poured out their grievances and expressed their worry against the authorities of the municipality. 

The residents who besieged the premises of Maakro traffic light where Fox 97.9 FM had their outreach program ahead of Election 2020 said the municipality lack a lot of developmental projects

Sharing some of their problems was the issue of security which was highlighted by all residents who were present. Making the orderly, they disclosed that, in certain parts of the municipality one can't pass around between the hours of 8:00-8:30 because either you will be robbed, killed, or car been snatched.

Again they stressed the police indicating that they are fond of harassing drivers on the Suame- Techiman, Offinso stretch which results in an outrageous traffic jam since the traffic light at the Maakro junction isn't operating which leads to accidents.

Furthermore, they disclosed that their taxi business is collapsing due o the rapid patronage of pragyia which doesn't help likewise the bad roads and lack of parks for recreational activities.

Traders pouring out their grievances stated that they haven't benefited from the MASLOC loans which is to help boost their business.

Adding up, most of the residents voiced that, this time they will root for the Independent candidate who is a person of M George Prempeh aka Baashaka instead of the incumbent MP and Minority leader of parliament, Hon. Kyei Mensah Bonsu and also pleaded with the government to provide them with a police station in order to minimize the crime rate at the place.
