Police Hospital to Embark on Mass Burial
The Police Hospital in Accra has served notice of a mass burial exercise of some 200 unidentified and unclaimed bodies.
The Hospital in a statement signed by its Head of Public Affairs, DSP Yaw Nketiah-Yeboah mentioned that it was part of routine measures to decongest the morgue.
The bodies earmarked for the burial include abandoned dead bodies, paupers, unidentified crime, and accident victims.
The statement added that the general public should contact the pathology department of the hospital to identify persons who might not have been seen for some time now.
