Some thirty-seven students of the Osei Kyeretwie SHS in Tafo Kumasi whose items were gutted by a fire outbreak have today received support from the Old Students Association of the school.

Some thirty-seven students of the Osei Kyeretwie SHS in Tafo Kumasi whose items were gutted by a fire outbreak have today received support from the Old Students Association of the school.

The association led by its President who doubles as the board chairman for the school, Mr. Ernest Owusu Ansah has today, Wednesday, August 18, 2021, made a cash donation of GHS 9,000 to the school.

According to Mr. Owusu Ansah, the President of the old students Association, each victim will have a fair share of the amount given to the school and the remaining amount will be used to reclaim the burnt structure.

He later cautioned the students to stay away from any illegalities that can cause fire outbreaks in the future.

Background of the story.

One of the boy's dormitories in the Osei Kyeretwie SHS in Tafo Kumasi was on August 9, 2021, gutted down by the fire.

The fire outbreak affected one room and no casualties were reported. 

As at the time the incident occurred, the students were prepping that evening.
