He said Chocolate companies like Nestlé, Hershey’s, Mondelez and Mars are beginning to lose hope in Ghana and cote d'Ivoire on how some farmers are destroying our Forest in the name of Cocoa farming in these two countries.
This includes deforestation in designated protected areas that provide vital habitats for endangered wildlife such as chimpanzees, elephants, monkeys and other animals.
He called on Cocoa farmers in the country to desist from this act and protect out Forest in the country.
Mr Kwabena Brobbey urged the farmers to also make it known to other farmers in the country so that, our Forest can be protected in the country for future generations.
