KONA Health Staffs Appeals For Accommodation
Staff at Kona Health Centre in the Sekyere South District of the Ashanti Region has appealed to the government, benevolent organizations and philanthropists to rescue them from the inadequate staff accommodation which is affecting the staff because they spent much on lorry fare before coming to work.

Some of the nurses made a humble appeal to the government to come to their aid. They added the high cost of rent particularly in Kona and surrounding communities.
The Deputy chief physician Assistant at the Kona Health centre Mr Kofi Nti Brentuo also lamented the basic challenges confronted by the centre such as Hospital beds, gloves, metal chairs, thermometers, TV Ambulance and others to promote quality health care delivery in the area.
He said the centre through the support of Nnagot quarry company has put up a structure of maternity block containing a theatre, conference, nurses changing room and others.
He appeals to the government and stakeholders to come to the aid of the centre to provide them with hospital equipment to enhance health care delivery in the district.
