The Director of Pharmacy at the University of Ghana Medical Centre, Dr. George Asumadu Amoateng has motivated students over the employment issues in the country.

According to Dr. Asumadu, what the finance minister said is the reality but we can not also base on that and ask our students to drop out of school.

“Things can change along the line, and we may need graduates and professionals to fill certain vacancies in the  sector, hence learning hard is never a waste but you should also consider entrepreneurship for the government can not employ everyone”, he lamented.

Dr. Asumadu Amoateng said this while fulfilling his promise made to his alma mater, Juaben Senior High School of furnishing their newly built sickbay with dozens of medicines.

Mrs. Josephine Mensah Opuni Boakye, the headmistress of the school received the items with much joy, and expressing their gratitude, she also urged other past students to visit the school and support them as their number keeps increasing rapidly.
