Students with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) doubling as Old Tafo constituents are likely to get financial assistance from their Member of Parliament (MP), Vincent Ekow Assafuah.
The MP in a release is asking students who belong to the constituency and have had courses deferred due to their inability to meet the fee payment deadline of KNUST to contact his Aides.
The move from the lawmaker comes after over 6000 students, representing about 8 per cent of the 85,256 student population of the KNUST, have had to defer their courses in line with university regulations for non-payment of school fees.
