The Ekuona Family Members in the Atimatim Mase Community in the Afigya Kwabere South district of the Ashanti Region has appealed to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, as a matter of urgency, to call oneself acclaimed chief of Atimatim Mase Nana Danso Abiam II to order for sourcing himself with machomen and land guards to intimidate residents of Atimatim Mase.

The Ekuona Family Members in the Atimatim Mase Community in the Afigya Kwabere South district of the Ashanti Region has appealed to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, as a matter of urgency, to call oneself acclaimed chief of Atimatim Mase Nana Danso Abiam II to order for sourcing himself with machomen and land guards to intimidate residents of Atimatim Mase.

The absence of a substantive chief (Odikro), according to the Family, was not only hampering the socio-economic development of the community but had also paved the way for some unscrupulous persons to sell public lands earmarked for community infrastructural development.

Mr Kwabena Agyemang Head of Ekuona Family (Abusuapanin) who made the call at a press conference today said one self-acclaimed Chief by name Nana Danso Abiam ll surrounding himself with machomen and land guard to intimidated to prevented people from entering their farmlands which have created severe tension in the Atimatim Mase Community.

Mr Kwabena Agyemang said, Otumfuo has declared Mase stool for their Family but the Bogyaahene has turned down Otumfuo's decision to installed the self-acclaimed Chief Nana Danso Abiam ll as chief of Atimatim Mase which is the way it should go Pleading with Otumfuo to come to their aid to give them back their stool from the Nana Danso Abiam ll hands.
