Bono East: Nine MDCEs Sworn In With A Call To Be Innovative And Fast Track Development

Hon. Kwasi Adu Gyan, Bono East regional Minister has sworn into office nine (9) confirmed Municipal and District Chief Executives out of the total eleven (11) leaving two (2) rejected nominees Joshua Kwaku Abonkrah of Pru East and Diana Attaa Kissiwaa of Nkoranza South (both retained) pending further actions by the President H. E. Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo.

Hon. Kwasi Adu Gyan, Bono East regional Minister has sworn into office nine (9) confirmed Municipal and District Chief Executives out of the total eleven (11) leaving two (2) rejected nominees Joshua Kwaku Abonkrah of Pru East and Diana Attaa Kissiwaa of Nkoranza South (both retained) pending further actions by the President H. E. Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo. 

The nine (9) successfully sworn in comprising of seven (7) new appointees and two (2) retained are; Isaac Baffoe Ameyaw (Kintampo North), Opoku Nyame (Kintampo South) Benjamin Yaw Gyarko (Techiman Municipal), Everson Addo Donkor (Techiman North), David Manu (Pru West), Peter Osei-Fosu (Nkoranza North) Edward Owusu (Atebubu-Amantin), John Nyarba (Sene West) and Jerome Kofi Gyimah (Sene East)

At a short ceremony in Techiman where the MDCEs took their oaths, Hon. Kwasi Adu Gyan Bono East regional Minister advised them to discharge their duties diligently with innovation to fast track development.

For his part, Hon. Martin Agyei Mensah Korsah a deputy Minister for Local government, Decentralization and Rural Development who is also MP for Techiman South charged the MDCEs to execute the President Akuffo Addo led NPP administration's programs and projects effectively to break the eight (8) in 2024 general elections.

Furthermore, Pemampim Yaw Kabresse 4th Omanhene of Yeji and President of Bono East Regional House of Chiefs called for improved collaboration between the government and Nananom to actualize the development we require.

Finally, Hon. Everson Addo Donkor DCE for Techiman North on behalf of his colleagues showed gratitude and pledged to work tirelessly to improve Bono East
