Amansie West DCE Dines With Orphans Heart Smiles Organisation

District Chief Executive Officer for Amansie West has donated assorted food items to The Heart Smiles Organization; an orphanage home located at Akropong to mark the celebration of Valentine's Day. They included 10 bags of 5kg rice, 10 packs of toilet roll, 1 box of sunflower oil, 6 packs of bottled water, 20 packs of sachet water, 1 box of tinned tomatoes, 5 gallons of liquid soap, 1 box of Milo sachet, 1 bag of sugar, 1 box of sachet milk, 1 bag of beans, 1 bag of gari, 10 crates of eggs.

District Chief Executive Officer for Amansie West has donated assorted food items to The Heart Smiles Organization; an orphanage home located at Akropong to mark the celebration of Valentine's Day.

They included 10 bags of 5kg rice, 10 packs of toilet roll, 1 box of sunflower oil, 6 packs of bottled water, 20 packs of sachet water, 1 box of tinned tomatoes, 5 gallons of liquid soap, 1 box of Milo sachet, 1 bag of sugar, 1 box of sachet milk, 1 bag of beans, 1 bag of gari, 10 crates of eggs.

Other items included 30 pieces of yam, 5 crates of Malta Guinness, chocolate, 10 boxes of sanitisers, 4 pieces of street light bulbs, 4 dustbins among others; all running a little over. Aside from the foregoing, he also gave physical cash of GHs 2000.

The government official Hon Nii Olenu Lartey also seized the occasion to dine with foster children of the home and also gave out a mini-pack of chocolate.

He said he, therefore, saw the need to show love to the children as exemplified by the donation and holding of a dinner party.

He, therefore, charged participants at the occasion to show love to the needy so as to earn more blessings from God.

The Headmaster of Heart Smile organization at Manso Akropong in the Amansie West district, Mr Douglas Owusu thanked the DCE  Hon Nii Lartey Oleenu for the gesture.
